Member Mingles
In addition to our lineup of virtual speakers, Royal City Quilters Guild also offers in-person social events we call Member Mingles on the fourth Saturday of the following months:
- September
- October
- November
- February
- March
- April
- May
The Member Mingles are held at the spacious Community Living Guelph Wellington facility located at 8 Royal Road in Guelph. These social events run from 10 am to 3:30 pm [Eastern] allowing time and space for plenty of in-person interactions.
Participation fees are $10 for members and $15 for guests. Money collected pays facility rental and an honorarium for presenters.
Each Member Mingle provides in-person access to a variety of programs within the Guild including:
- the Library;
- community outreach projects;
- Guild quilt racks so you can photograph large quilts for Show and Share; and
- the Membership table.
RCQG members may also book a time slot during an upcoming Mingle to use our GO! Big Electric Fabric Cutter by Accuquilt. In addition to the cutter, we also own the following cutting dies:
