Archived – Notable Quilt Sizes for our Partners at Guelph General Hospital
We ask that quilts donated for the projects located at Guelph General Hospital adhere to the quilt sizes listed below:
Comfort Quilts:
- Finished Size: 50″ to 54″ wide by 60″ to 64″ long
- Backing & Batting Dimensions: 60″ x 72″
- Binding Requirements: 2.5″ wide x 264″ length (or 7 strips 2.5″ wide by WOF)
- Preferred Material: Cotton and/or flannel
Memory Quilts:
- Finished Size: 24” x 24” to 30” x 30”
- Preferred Material: Cotton and/or flannel
Please Note:
- We respectfully request that you refrain from the use of religious or seasonal fabrics depicting a religious event e.g. Christmas.
- Novelty fabrics and all colour options are considered acceptable.
- We have no need for infant/baby themed fabrics.
- As the clientele is varied there is a need for a wide range of colours and designs.
