Tula Pink Butterfly Quilt Along 2022

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Tula Pink Butterfly Quilt Along. Our quilt along was a joint project of Royal City Quilters Guild, York Heritage Quilt Guild and Waterloo County Quilt Guild. Our quilt along started in January 2022 and wrapped up in the Fall. Participants met monthly via Zoom on Saturday mornings. We used our private online community to share progress, tips, techniques, encouragement and a variety of resources.

Butterfly quilts made their way to CQA’s Quilt Canada; brought home ribbons in local Fall Fairs; and were given as gifts to family and friends.

Participants enjoyed the project so much they decided to work on Edyta Sitar’s Alaska Quilt the next year.
