Community Outreach

The Royal City Quilters' Guild donates quilts to the Pediatric Sexual Assault Unit at the Guelph General Hospital.

Each month interested members assist with the completion of donation quilts by working on block kits, piecing quilt tops using completed blocks, machine or hand quilting finished tops, or binding the quilts.

The work of this committee is supported by member donations of fabrics or finished (orphan) blocks, by the collection of Zehrs tapes, and by the Guelph General Hospital Foundation.

Small memory quilts are also donated to the birthing unit at Guelph General Hospital.
